Friends. My love for myself, what I'm doing and what I stand for. Pretty things.
I feel a common theme to the start of my blog posts as of late BUT I cannot believe it has been pretty much three weeks since I last posted! Okay, now that we have that done with, here we gooooooo! :) Today I'm grateful for friends. I swear I have some of the coolest friends on the planet. :) I have probably mentioned this before but one of my best friend's, Anne, is biking across the country as I write this. The thing is that she is female, 5'4", petite and riding solo AND the last real good weather she had was in Osoyoos, BC. She is currently between Thunder Bay and the Sault and rain and storms have followed her across the country which I can only imagine to be rather...character building. To me that equates to STRONG WOMAN with mass amounts of COURAGE and WILLPOWER! I am so incredibly proud of her and cannot wait to hear the stories when she gets here about all the shenanigans along her journey so far. So, ya, I'm grateful for having awesome friends doing crazy shiznit things AND cannot wait to join in on the East coast craziness! :) Another thing I'm grateful for is this particular feeling I have been having lately. To me when I say it out loud kinda feels like I'm being egotistical but it could not be further from the truth and that is definitely not enough for me not to share it! Okay so here goes. I LOOOOOVE WHO I AM, WHAT I'M DOING and WHAT I STAND FOR. I was put on this earth to make a difference in my own unique way and I'm really feeling aligned. I love people, I love biking and I love food. My decision making seems to be so much quicker than in the past. When I used to write emails it would take me AGES! I was so afraid of how I would come across or so careful to word things so as not to piss anyone off. Now I just rip them off like there nothing and forge ahead to the next one! There really is something to be said for knowing who you truly are, what you want in life, what you stand for and why you do what you do. It takes awhile to get there BUT once you do it's kind of insane what starts to happen. (Insert giddy laugh here) I'm also grateful for pretty things. In particular is my new iPhone case and business cards! Voila!
