Sometimes certain aspects of our life give us lemons. In one area of my life in particular, I’m surrounded by negativity in a BIG way. I have been finding it incredibly difficult to deal with and it’s having this trickle effect into other areas of my life. NOT GOOD! I have decided to make June the month for GRATITUDE!!! That's right - 30 whole days of finding the happy and goodness of your day and being grateful for it are coming on up....AND I'm starting early. :) SO, knowing what I know from my first “gratefulness” project that I did on Facebook, I have learned that focusing on what is going right and consciously picking out the good in one’s day and truly being grateful for it will help lessen the effects of the negative parts. Your focus begins to shift since you are constantly reminding yourself that you have three “good” things to write about. You may find yourself starting to look for the best ones to write about like I did. It has a total snowball effect and sometimes you may have TEN! This is something that should be practiced on a daily. For me it helps immensely to commit to writing it out and sharing it with the world which is why I’m blogging them. For some of you, it may be something you would like to write privately in a journal. No one way is “right” and no matter how you do it, it’s sharing positivity with the Universe and when you do this it is amazing to see what happens! Like anything, the beginning is always the hardest; once you get going though…well…you will see. :) So here we go. Today I’m so grateful that Andrew is home. He had been away racing mountain bikes for a couple of weeks in Quebec and I missed him which leads me to being grateful for gigantic tight meaningful HUGS. Man oh man, the first hug when he comes back is the best…actually they all are. What can I say, I’m a hugger. :) Next up is warm weather. That was one looooooong ass cold winter however seeing 31C on my car’s thermometer makes me wanna siiiiiiing and dance. There you have it. See how easy that was?!?! See you tomorrow for Day 2!
