I learned so much and now have to practice! Paige and Andrew were amazing. There was so much individual attention and the skills were broken down to a simple steps. I can't think of anything I would have wanted different. Anyone wanting to learn how to mountain bike or improve their skills should do a clinic with Pura Vida. I will definitely be back! ~ Jennet Pockett

I absolutely loved this clinic! The small group was valuable for receiving extra attention. I was able to overcome my fears with your instruction, presence and support. I felt comfortable riding over obstacles because of your technical coaching and positive / can-do attitude. The food was delicious and a key component for sustaining energy levels. Your motivation, energy and passion were the icing on the cake! ~ Audrey Santo Domingo

PAIGE ROYAL |
Paige Royal is the founder of Pura Vida Performance and coach to the Pura Vida Mavericks and grew up on a farm in Creemore, ON. She found and fell in love with bikes later in life in 2005 when she moved to Whistler, BC. When she found mountain biking her life did a 180 degree turn. Paige was leading an unhealthy lifestyle and at the height of it, weighed over 200lbs. Needless to say biking was the catalyst for where she is now.
She is super passionate about sharing her knowledge and boosting confidence in women through riding bikes and equipping YOU with a set of killer bike handling skills! She has been exactly where you are right now and had no one to show her the ropes. She believes that learning the fundamental skills to mountain biking is imperative to your growth in the sport whether you're doing it for fun, camaraderie, weight loss, community or even racing your bike. She fell in love with riding bikes as it took her mind away from her challenges, it helped her lose weight and become the healthiest version of her. It is her form of meditation, freedom and an escape from the everyday. Paige is a certified PMBIA Instructor, NCCP Cycling Coach and Registered Holistic Nutritionist.
