You know that weird and awkward moment when money comes up with a client when we have to share our prices. That's the moment I work on.

I know that place well because I lived in it for years, even before I became a coach.

From the time I got my first credit card as a teenager, money and I had a complicated relationship.

In and out of debt, riding a constant rollercoaster of highs and lows, never feeling like I had enough, and letting money sit at the forefront of almost every single decision I made.  

Then I started my own business, and everything intensified.

And you might relate because it showed up like this:

✦   Being afraid to charge what I was worth (or raise my prices) because I didn't believe people would pay it.

✦   It felt way easier to do things for free.

✦   Negotiating my pricing down and agreeing to less than I wanted, then feeling resentful for not honouring myself.

✦   Over-giving and over-delivering to prove I was worth it, while undervaluing myself. 

✦   Avoiding my bank accounts, bookkeeping and taxes altogether. 

✦   
Procrastinating on sales calls until the opportunity disappeared.

And here's what took me years to understand:

Nothing about my skills or ability as a coach was the problem.

What changed was how I showed up the moment money entered the conversation.

My confidence dropped.
My decisions changed.
And clients could feel it.

The part that makes me different from most coaches you'll work with.

I've been coaching in some form for 13 years.

I started as a cycling and nutrition coach.

I built that business from the ground up when no one knew who I was, and got to the point where I was at trade shows.

I had people signed up and paying, and then a global event wiped it out completely.

I found myself refunding every single person who had paid me and starting over.

I've changed niches more times than I'd like to admit.

Cycling.
Nutrition.
Mindset.
Life.
Business.
Money.

Each pivot felt like starting from ground zero again.

I also came from over 20 years in corporate as a Securities Paralegal, where someone always told me what to do.

So when I stepped out on my own as a coach, I had no idea how to run a business, market myself, or put myself out there, let alone having to talk about money and getting paid.

I'd never had to do any of that before.
 
It felt lonely. And scary. And messy for a long time.

I didn't have someone in my corner who actually knew me.

Not as a number in a program, but as a person building something real from nothing.

Someone who took the time to understand my business, my vision, and what I was actually struggling with.

I never had that. So I became it.

That's why I work with coaches the way I do.

And with money, I feel calm in a way I genuinely didn't think was possible for me.

I can look at my bank account, talk about finances, and make decisions from a clear head instead of a panicked one.

I live a laptop lifestyle, something I dreamed about back in 2007.

I'm deeply aligned with my work.

And I understand what actually changes things at the level where change is lasting.

Which is why I now create judgment-free spaces for coaches to work on exactly this. 

Because money and money conversations is rarely just about money and pricing.

It's about safety, self-worth, fear of rejection and being judged, identity, trust and freedom. 

 And when the emotional part we feel when we think and talk about money has been taken care of, everything changes.  

We stop reacting. We stop avoiding. And we stop sabotaging.

It becomes something we can look at, talk about, and choose from.

Fun & Random Facts About Me

Was born and raised on a beef farm in Creemore, Ontario, Canada.

Coffee is the sweet nectar of the Gods - almond milk and maple syrup, always. IYKYK.

I once bungee-jumped off the highest platform in the world (at the time) in New Zealand, despite being terrified of heights.

I’ve sold everything I owned four times to follow my intuition and chase epic adventures:

 ->  Moved to London, England, for two years and traveled the world.

 ->  Left Vancouver, BC, to learn Spanish in Guatemala and roam for months in Costa Rica.

 ->  Bought a teardrop trailer (Foxy Cleopatra) and a gold van (Gold Member), road-tripping and living out of them for six months in Arizona.

->  Left Canada for Costa Rica, then Colombia, and then Ecuador.

Would trade winter for sunshine every single time.

Spent 20+ years in Corporate Securities as a Paralegal before starting my first business.

Cycling was my meditation long before I became a world traveller, and it's what started my coaching journey.
